On April 25, 2026, Rotaract, in partnership with FNB and Rotary, came together with a shared purpose: to bring support and relief to families in need within the Ballito and surrounding areas.

This initiative, centered on compassion and community, saw the donation and distribution of 10 “Buckets of Hope” to families across the Etete district.

Each bucket was thoughtfully prepared with essential food items(including rice, tea, flour, and canned goods) aimed at providing immediate nourishment and easing the burden on households facing challenging circumstances.

Beyond the act of giving, this initiative allowed us to form meaningful connections within the community. With the guidance of a local resident, we were able to identify families who needed support the most.

Through these interactions, we not only delivered essential supplies but also shared moments of empathy, kindness, and human connection, reminding us that even small acts can make a significant difference.

As Rotaract, we remain committed to continuing this journey of service. Initiatives like these reaffirm our belief in doing what we can, where it matters most - uplifting lives, one step at a time.
